I have sketchbooks, that I draw in and when I do my figure drawing I use just about anything. In this instance I used a ball point pen, then scanned it onto my computer. Then I used photoshop to invert the image and finally slapped a color onto the drawing. Other times I'll use a colored pencil, a regular pencil, or a brush pen. Each tool forces me to approach the drawing differently, particularly if I cant erase. I like the challenge of trying to hit the right lines with a permanent tool like a pen or brush pen.
