Late in the Day Figures...

Busy day but better late than never, had a few days of some ugly figure drawing. Today was much better, I actually like a few of these ones.

More Zombie Detail...

Both Low Poly and High Poly versions on display.

More Zombie Texturing...

I should be finishing the mesh, but I'm having too much fun on this throw-away texture. Especially as I learn more BodyPaint 3D coolness. It is so easy and fast to create nice looking textures...

More Logos...

...little logo re-creations I did recently, fun stuff as it was pro wrestling related.

Zombie Texture Test...

It's a bit premature, but I'm trying out a demo of Maxon's BodyPaint 3D and thought I'd give it a whirl on my low poly zombie mesh. It's a pretty cool piece of software for painting textures fer sure. I need to finish my high poly sculpt and do a texture for real.

Post It Head...

Very blocky features...

Nightcrawler Painted

This one looks more chalky than oil paint. Weird, cause I used the same techniques...

Figures and Hoses...

My day got detoured by an exploding radiator hose, I feel so manly for fixing it on my own.

Nightcrawler UnderPainting/Sketch...

In the vein of my Wolverine Sketch that turned into a painting I thought I'd do a Nightcrawler next. Don't know if I'll do all the X-Men, but the last one was fun...

Figure it Out...

When I do my figure drawing, 98% of the time I focus on the female figure cause its always been harder for me to get the pose, attitude and subtly of the anatomy with women than men. It's defiantly more of a challenge and figure drawing elements translate from women to men easier, than the other way around. I'd rather have slightly feminine looking men than slightly manly looking women. Enough spiel...

Wolvie Painted...

Did this in an "Oil" Paint style.

Figures...

I won't always post my figure drawing stuff, but if there is a pose I like in the bunch, I'll throw up the whole sheet. I use berol color pencils (no erasing) on black strathmore paper.

Wormy Sketch...

I will probably do a quick paint job on him in the next day or so...

Zombie Detail...

Starting some early detail stuff, before I remove the symmetry. I wanted to get a feel for how I was gonna lay in details and still retain forms. I think tomorrow I'll start the process of adjusting the really damaged side of the head. Then finish up the details.

Finally...3D Zombie Update...

Still pushing the general forms around, once thats done I'll need to remove the symmetry. Eventually I'll get to the detail stage

Lumpy Color Comp...

Photoshop and lots of new tricks I learned from some recent tutorials made the process even faster than usual.

New blog Design...

So I spent the majority of the day redesigning the Blog template, not an easy thing to do since I'm not a coder and it was a lot of trial and error. I like it though. But wow, theres no purple...
