...Trying out some new techniques in ZBrush and quickly knocked out this bronze skull. Didn't do much more than the face that you see as it was more of a test. I liked it, so I posted it.

...Detailed my creatures feet, and also solved a symmetry issue that popped up. All I can say is ZBrush 3 ROCKS! I don't have a complaint yet and I still keep uncovering new, cool features.

Platyfish in 3D...

Remember this guy?
Its my concept painting for a fish I called, Platyfish. I am now building him in 3D, and I started the mesh today. I began with ZSpheres and then converted it to a mesh and have been building up his forms. Here's my progress after a handful of hours.
I'm gonna have to re-topologize him next and add in his back/spinal fins before I add any more detail...

New Creature I'm building, started from a base mesh that came with a tutorial on ZBrush Sculpting Techniques that I am currently doing. I've changed the pose on the mesh quite a bit so hopefully it will be quite different looking from the one in the tutorial when I'm done.

...decided I better get back to work on texturing/finishing this guy. He was originally built in Mudbox, but since its been a while I brought him into ZBrush 3.1 and cleaned him up a bit then added a few more details and rebuilt his textures. He's on the top of my "need to finish" list now...

Music Video I Created About a Year Ago...

Huge Fan of Ric Flair and the build up to Starrcade 83 and then of course the subsequent match that took place at Starrcade 83 between Ric Flair and Harley Race for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. First Music video I ever made. Anyway, now that the blogs have a new video adding/embedding feature I figured I'd throw it up and see how it is. It's a little over 6 minutes long and I had a lot of fun doing it. Technically I'd consider it enough of a sketch to put it up here...
